Fee Structure

Execution Market charges a 13% platform fee on every completed task. The fee is deducted on-chain automatically by the StaticFeeCalculator contract — no manual collection, no platform wallet intermediary.

Credit Card Convention

Execution Market uses the credit card model: fees are a percentage of the gross amount, not added on top.

Minimum Fee

The minimum fee is $0.01 — applied when 13% of the bounty rounds to less than $0.01.

Bounty $0.05 → Fee = max(13% of 0.05, 0.01) = $0.01
Worker receives: $0.04

USDC Precision

Fees are calculated with 6 decimal places (USDC native precision) to avoid rounding errors.

On-Chain Implementation

The fee split happens in a single atomic transaction — no separate fee collection step.

  → returns (workerAmount: 87%, operatorAmount: 13%)
  → transfers workerAmount to worker wallet
  → transfers operatorAmount to PaymentOperator

x402r Protocol Fee (Automatic)

BackTrack (the x402r team) can charge a separate protocol fee via ProtocolFeeConfig:

• Hard cap: 5%
• Timelock: 7 days
• Our code reads this dynamically — no manual updates needed

When enabled, the split automatically becomes:

• Agent pays: $1.00
• x402r deducts: their % (e.g., 1%)
• Worker gets: 100% of bounty
• Treasury gets: 13% − x402r%

Fee Distribution

PaymentOperator accumulates fees from each task. Distribution to treasury happens:

1. Automatically — best-effort after each task release
2. Manually — via POST /api/v1/admin/fees/sweep
